Pointing job in a Victorian Terraced property: Matt was lovely throughout, friendly, good communication explained what he would do and clearly knew what he was talking about, and made sure I was happy with the job before invoicing. As a single woman I dread having to get people in to complete building work but this was a really positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

Matt did an excellent job building our retaining wall. From start to finish, he was professional, reliable, and clearly very skilled at his trade. He explained the process thoroughly, offered helpful advice on materials and design, and kept everything on schedule. The workmanship is outstanding—the wall is solid, level, and finished to a very high standard. He paid great attention to detail, left the site tidy every day, and made the whole experience stress-free. I would highly recommend Matt to anyone looking for a builder who delivers quality work and takes real pride in what he does.

Matt did a great job cleaning up and repointing some old garden steps. The steps were in bad condition and likely hadn't been cared for for many years. Matt agreed to a fair price and worked tirelessly through a long day, leaving only until the job was done. Friendly guy who takes pride in his work. Couldn't ask for more.

True 5 Star service in every way possible. Matt responded to our My Builder enquiry immediately, his quote was clear and fair and received within two days. He then somehow squeezed us in between bigger jobs by working through the weekend and well into the evenings. He was confident, cheerful and a pleasure to have around. Most importantly though the quality of his work and the advice he gave was exceptional. Both tasks he did were fiddly and difficult to end up with a good result because of previous poor work done on the wall and the age of the gate piers but he truly worked magic on them both, never complaining despite it clearly being a difficult task and the days long. Really impressive service and highly recommended.

We had received a level 2 report and the team at Cousins Brickwork went around the view the property and gave us a lot of piece of mind as a first time buyer. I was contacted by Matthew Cousins through myBuilder having had a garden wall damaged by a delivery driver. In a short chat with Matthew l could see that he was a proficient builder who was honest in his estimation of what needed doing to the wall. He arrived on the agreed date and repaired the wall quickly and efficiently and throughout explained his work to me as he completed the repair work. On completion he cleaned up any debris taking it away with him. Highly recommended for his work and cheerful manner

Matt did a top job re-pointing the rear wall of my house. After he expressed interest, we arranged a visit and he advised on the materials to use for the mortar joint and the best type of joint for my construction. He provided a quotation promptly. Before the works started, Matt carefully protected my garden furniture and placed a tarpaulin sheet on my patio for the dusty activities. During the works, he would send me progress pictures. Once the tower was erected, he noticed a crack above the lintel for the window opening and he advised to use a helical bar to repair the arch. The work was completed to a high standard and I am pleased with the finish. I would highly recommend Matthew!
